[T310] Why Ribbon Follows Paper When Printing

When the T310 printer prints labels, if the ribbon is brought out along with the label paper, it is because the printer is currently in thermal mode, and the ribbon recycling function is turned off by default.

1. Thermal Transfer Method

If you want to use the printer's thermal transfer function, you need to make sure the printer's printing mode is thermal transfer method.

1.1 Check the Print Method

1.1.1 Windows

In the driver → Options, check what printing method is displayed on the printer driver.

1.1.2 Mac

Click Printer Options, and in the pop-up window, click Printing Methods, check Printing Methods.

1.2 Restart the Printer

Restart the printer, the ribbon will tighten automatically.

(If there is still any ribbon left outside the print head, please turn off the printer again and restart it)

1.3 Change Print Method

1.2.1 Windows

In the driver → Options, set the print method to "Thermal Transfer".

1.2.2 Mac

Click Printer Options, and in the pop-up window, click Printing Methods, select Thermal Transfer.

Note: If it is a mobile phone Bluetooth connection, just perform step 1.2

2. Thermal Method

If you want to use the thermal printing function of the printer, you need to make sure the printer is in thermal printing method.

2.1 Restart the Printer

Remove the ribbon and restart the printer.

2.2 Driver Settings

in driver→options, change print method to "Thermal".

Note: If the mobile phone is connected by Bluetooth, perform step 2.1
