Reasons Why the D520 (BT) Printer Paper Feed Cannot be Calibrated to the Correct Position

Info
After you insert the paper roll into the printer correctly, close the printer cover and turn on the printer. At this time, the printer indicator light is a fixed blue light. You click the printer's paper feed button, but you will find that the printer does not feed the paper in the right position. If the printer feeds the paper in the wrong position, it will cause the content of the printed label to be offset. If you want to know the reason why the printer feeds the paper incorrectly, please pay attention to the following content.
The printer will not flash red due to the sensor identifying the wrong paper type, but the printer will always have incorrect paper position calibration.
(Take gap paper as an example)

1. Identify paper operation:

1.1 Key operation printer identification gap paper:

Insert labels, make sure the labels are straight and smooth. Restart the printer, put the printer in standby mode (the indicator light is solid blue), press and hold the feed button until the indicator light turns purple, then release the feed button.

1.2 Key operated printer recognizes black mark paper:

Insert the label and make sure it is straight and smooth. Turn off the printer. Press and hold the feed button while turning on the printer. Wait until the red light turns blue, then immediately release the feed button.

2. Check the Printer Driver Settings.

If your printer cannot calibrate the correct paper position no matter how many times you have performed paper recognition operations, and you have connected the printer to the computer using a data cable, downloaded and installed the printer driver, then it is likely that there is a problem with the settings on your printer driver.
Please open the control panel in the computer system settings and find Devices & Printers. Then click Printers & Scanner, find the D520-BT printer, click Printing preferences, check the Option on the pop-up page, and select Tear off for the Post-Print function.

After the settings are completed, please restart the printer and operate the printer to identify the paper again. The printer will then calibrate the correct paper position.

If the Problem Still Persists
