Reasons for PM344-WiFi Flashing Red Lights

Flashing red light indicates the printer cannot identify the paper correctly. Please refer to the following steps to restore the printer to normal printing status.

1. Calibrating the Printer Sensors

Please remove the label paper first, then close the printer cover and turn off the printer. (Do not put any printing paper in the printer)

Please press and hold the printer feed button, and then turn on the printer power at the same time. (While pressing and holding the feed button, turn on the printer)

After the red light flashes three times, release the feed button. The printer will automatically flash purple light and restart.

After the printer automatically restarts, the red light starts flashing. Now you can install the label paper on the printer. The printer will automatically feed and calibrate the paper. After the paper feeding is completed, the indicator light will turn back to a fixed blue light.

(No need to manually run the label automatic recognition process again, you can use the printer directly)

2. Choose the right paper type

If the first step of calibrating the sensor is successful, the printer indicator light will return to a fixed blue light. At this time, when you edit the label content for printing, you need to select the correct paper type and size.

2.1 If you are using gap paper as shown in the figure, please select the paper type of "Gap paper/Gap Label"

2.1.1 Set the paper type on the computer printer driver

2.2 If you are using black label paper as shown in the figure, please select the paper type of "Black label paper"

2.3 If you are using continuous paper as shown in the figure, please select the paper type of "Continuous paper"
