[PM344 WiFi] How to Adjust the Density of Printed Barcodes/QR codes
When using the PM344 WiFi printer to print shipping labels, the label barcode/QR code may be printed too dark or too blurry, causing the shipping label to be unable to be scanned and recognized by the device. You can use the following information to adjust the printing effect of the label barcode/QR code.
1. Mobile Labelife APP Adjustment
Adjusting the Printing Density Using the Labelife Mobile App
Go to the app store and search and download the Labelife APP.
Then turn on the printer and open the Labelife mobile APP. Click the printer icon in the upper right corner to search and connect to the PM344WiFi printer.
The APP will pop up the WiFi network configuration page. Enter the WiFi network password currently connected to the phone to complete the printer's network configuration in the mobile APP.

After connecting the printer to the Labelife APP, please adjust the printer's printing quality 1 or 2 and speed 2 as shown in the figure.
2. Adjustment on the Local Computer
2.1 Windows
Please connect the printer to the computer via a data cable, and connect the printer to the Windows computer via the WiFi setting tool, and then you can adjust the printer's printing speed and density in the driver.
Turn on the printer, and connect it to the computer using a Type-C cable. Make sure the printer can be connected to the computer as a USB device.

After completing the settings according to the instructions, go to the Windows settings page, click "Device", click "Printers and Scanners", click PM-344-WiFi (Management—Printer Preferences Page—Option), adjust the print speed to 2, and the print density to 1 or 2
If you have downloaded the Labelife software.
You can set the printer to the Labelife software and set the label printing density and speed as shown in the figure, adjust the density to1 or 2 and the speed to 2. Select "Barcode included" in Clarity Setting.
2.2 Mac
Please connect the printer to the computer via a data cable, and connect the printer to the Mac via the WiFi setting tool, and then you can adjust the printer's printing speed and density in the driver.
Turn on the printer, and connect it to the computer using USB cable and USB-C adapter. Make sure the printer can be connected to the computer as a USB device.

After setting up the printer on your Mac via WiFi according to the web link instructions and video operations, please open the label file you want to print locally, and then select "Printer Features" in "Preview" in the settings. Adjust Darkness to 2 or 1 and Print Speed to 2.
If you have downloaded the Labelife software.
You can set the printer to the Labelife software and set the label printing density and speed as shown in the figure, adjust the intensity to 2 or 1 and the speed to 2.
Check whether the barcode/QR code on the shipping label printed by the printer is still too dark after adjusting the density and speed settings of the device, and whether the barcode/QR code can be scanned and recognized by the device normally.
3. Algorithm optimization
If the shipping label barcode/QR code printed by your printer still cannot be scanned and recognized by the device after trying all the above methods, please contact us via email: bestservice2012@outlook.com and we will send you an installation package of the algorithm-optimized version of the Labelife software. (Can only be used on PC)
After installing the test version of the Labelife software, you can try to use the PDF printing function to test the printing effect of the label barcode/QR code.
The algorithm-optimized version of the software can be directly printed using the recommended density settings.
