[344-WiFi] How to Avoid Printing Offset Content
When the 344-WiFi printer prints different types of labels, different content offsets may occur. The following are the reasons why the printer may have print offsets.
1.Print Label Content is Offset Up and Down
(As shown in the figures) When you use a printer to print a label, the content of the label may appear offset up and down. (the content of one label is printed on two sheets of paper in portrait orientation)
1.1 Ensure that the Paper is Installed Correctly
The paper output direction must be parallel to the printer output port, and the paper must be smooth and run smoothly. If the paper is installed too loosely or too tightly, it will cause the paper to deviate, resulting in printing deviation.
Paper guides can be used to fix the paper position so that the paper will not shift in direction due to paper feeding.
Open the printer cover, insert the paper smoothly and straight, close the printer cover, turn on the printer and wait for the printer to automatically feed the paper and calibrate the paper position.
1.2 Template Editing Content Needs to be Centered Horizontally
1.2.1 Horizontally Center Label Content on the Mobile Labelife APP
Go to the mobile app store and search and download Labelife APP. Connect the printer to the Labelife APP. When editing labels on the APP, the edited content needs to be centered in the text box. (You can use the scales on the top and left of the edit box to check whether the label content is horizontally centered)
1.2.2 Horizontally Center Label Content on the PC Labelife Software
When editing label content, you can select "Align to label" at the top of the software page to center the label content.
1.3 Check the Printer Firmware on the Labelife APP
Go to the mobile app store and search and download Labelife APP, then connect the printer to the Labelife APP and check if the printer's firmware version is 2.6.2 as shown in the figure.
If the printer's firmware version is not 2.6.2, please click "Firmware Update" in the APP "Settings" as shown in the picture. Check whether the APP can actively push the new version of the printer firmware. If there is a prompt for a new version of the printer firmware update, please do not disconnect the printer and APP, and complete the firmware upgrade according to the prompt.

If you need to use the Labellife APP to edit and print labels, please select the correct paper type after the printer firmware version is upgraded. For example, if the paper you use is the 4*6 inch white square gap paper that comes with the printer, you need to select the paper type and size as shown in the figure. (Please do not select "Continuous Paper" as the paper type)
1.3.2 Choose the Right Label Template on the Labelife APP
If you know the specific size of the paper you are using, you can click on the Label library in the APP and select the label template to edit and print the label.
If you have previously saved an edited template, please note whether the saved historical template is of continuous paper type. If it is of continuous paper type, please delete the template and create a new template editing label.
1.4 Check the Printer Firmware on the PC Labelife Software

To download the PC-side Labelife software, then connect the printer to the Labelife software and check the printer's firmware information as shown in the figures.
If the printer's firmware version is not 2.6.2, please click "Help" on the software page to check whether "Printer Upgrade" can be clicked and the firmware can be upgraded.

3.2 PC Software Printing Adjustment
If you use a computer device to connect to a printer for printing, it is recommended to go to the Labelife official website to download the latest version of the Labelife computer software to edit circular labels for printing. It is recommended to use a data cable to connect to the computer to facilitate subsequent adjustment of the offset value in the printer driver. The effect of printing circular labels will be better.
3.2.1 Check the Printer Firmware on the PC Labelife Software

3.2.2 Select the Circular Label Template
Create a new label, and then you can find out which template for the circular label you use in the pop-up page. Please note that the size of the circular label may be divided into 2×2 inches or 50×50mm, the size units of these two examples are different, and their size and corresponding templates are also different. To select a template based on the size unit and specific size of the circular label you actually purchased and used, the "View" at the top of the software can convert the size unit.
After selecting the circular label template to be printed, you can enlarge the template editing box to edit your label content. (As shown in the picture, keep the label content centered up and down, left and right)
3.2.3 Manually Adjust the Position According to the Printing Effect
If there is a certain inertia deviation in the printed label effect, such as the circular label printing effect shown in the figure, the three circular labels are accustomed to be slightly offset to the upper right corner.
When editing the label content, you can slightly adjust the position of the content to the lower right corner of the label editing box.
The position can be adjusted according to the actual printing effect of the circular label itself.
3.3 Mobile APP Printing Adjustment
3.3.1 Check the Printer Firmware on the Labelife APP
Go to the mobile app store and search and download Labelife APP, then connect the printer to the Labelife APP and check if the printer's firmware version is 2.6.3 as shown in the figure.
If the printer's firmware version is not 2.6.2, please click "Firmware Update" in the APP "Settings" as shown in the picture. Check whether the APP can actively push the new version of the printer firmware. If the template printing on the mobile phone APP also has a serious offset problem, we recommend that you use a data cable to connect the printer and computer. Because the 344-WiFi is a professional shipping label printer, its paper sensor is not in the center position for round labels. The computer is equipped with a printer driver and can adjust the printing position through the offset value. Therefore, we recommend using a computer to print round labels. shape label.
