How to Close the Older Version of Labelife

Method 1: Locate the old version of the software and close it directly.

1.The first method is to locate the icon for the old version of the software on the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen, then click it to open the application.

2.After opening the old version of the software, simply click the X button in the upper-right corner to exit and close the application.

Please note: If you have any files that are currently being edited, make sure you have saved them before closing the software. Otherwise, any unsaved work may be lost.



Or manually save it before closing.




Method 2: Close the old version of the Labelife software through Task Manager.

1.First, right-click the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. In the pop-up menu, select the “Task Manager” option and click to open it.


2.Enter “Labelife” in the search bar at the top of Task Manager to search. Find the process corresponding to the icon of our old version of Labelife software, then right-click it and select “End Task”.

Similarly, before closing it, please make sure that any files you are currently editing have been saved. Otherwise, the files you are working on may be lost. 

3.Close the old version, then reconnect via USB to the new version of Labelife.

Notes
After closing the old version of the software and switching to the new version, you may need to refresh the USB connection again.

1.After you open the new version of the APP, you will see the printer shows disconnected status (taking model 344WF as an example).

2.Please unplug the data cable connected to the printer.


3.Then plug the data cable back in, and you will see that Labelife shows the connection is successful.

4.Close the old version, then reconnect via Bluetooth to the new version of Labelife.

Notes
After closing the old version of the software and switching to the new version, you may need to refresh the Bluetooth connection again.

1.After closing the old version of the software, open the new version and click the upper-right corner to enter the printer search and connection page.

2.Instead of directly selecting the printer from the printer list, click “Add printer” to allow the software to refresh and search for the printer again.


3.Find the corresponding printer in the refreshed printer list after the search, then click “Connect”.


This means that we have successfully reconnected the printer in the new version of Labelife software.
