How to Cancel the Print Queue File for the Shipping Label Printer
When the printer repeatedly prints a certain label content; the printer automatically starts printing the previously unfinished task; or the printer displays a printing error prompt. You can try to clear the print queue file and then reset the printer to restore the printer to normal status.
1. Cancel the Print Queue File via PC
1.1 Download the Printer Driver.
If you want to operate the printer to cancel the print job queue, you need to download and install the printer driver on computer.
Please use a data cable to connect your printer and computer. Then turn on the printer and make sure the printer is successfully displayed in the USB device of the computer.
1.1.1 Select the Printer Model
Open the Labelife official website and click on the printer model for which you need to download the driver.
The following operation takes the shipping label printer PM241-BT as an example.
1.1.2 Download Windows Driver
After opening the printer information webpage, select the Windows version of the driver to download and install.
1.1.3 Download Mac Driver
After opening the printer information webpage, select the Mac version of the driver to download and install.
1.2 Check/Cancel Print Queue File
After installing the printer driver (or the printer itself is connected to the computer via a data cable for printing), you can cancel the printer print queue file by following the steps below.
1.2.1 Windows Operation
Open the Control Panel on your Windows computer and select View devices and printers.
Select the corresponding printer device, right-click and open "see what's printing".
Right-click in a blank area of the pop-up window and select Cancel All Documents.
1.2.2 Mac Operation
Open System Settings on your Mac, then select Printer & Scanner.
Select the corresponding printer, and then click Open Print Queue. In the pop-up printer working page, click "×" to delete and cancel the printer's print queue file.
2. Cancel the Print Queue File via Mobile Labelife APP
If you use the Labelife APP on your phone to connect to the printer to print labels, you can operate the APP to cancel the print queue as shown in the figure.
